Using over 15 years of experience in reed-based electro-acoustic instruments, Reed200 V2 is designed to simulate the tones generated by an actual instrument, a Wurlitzer electronic piano. With Reed200 V2 we have created our best spectral modeling tool yet. By manipulating multiple parameters, we could model all aspects of timbre, including Pianissimo, which never before has been possible. We use the most advanced technology to produce the best tool, to reproduce the sound of Wurli, a reed-based instrument, which was designed back in the 80's. Combining up to 600 pure sine waves we achieved a flawless production of a reed-based instrument. By taking a step further, weve included a cabinet and a drive emulator, so you can produce a reed-based EP (Electronic Piano) in a wide variety of possible settings. Many people want to recreate the sound of a Wurli with the best available technology, for example, a large hall with custom speakers, speakers closer than the instrument, etc.

Reed200 V2 is clean and responsive, because its timbre was made analyzing the real instrument model. Stacking up to 600 pure sine waves, we achieved a perfect and accurate timbre that reproduces the sound of a reed-ep, on the line output. Because this project was also very ambitious weve added an option to include cabinet emulation. By using up to 13 studio speakers we reached a very wide and realistic playback, even in a small space like an office.
