So, to help you figure out which TCL TV might work the best for you, we have outlined the primary TV ranges that TCL sells in both US and UK territories, as well as what they offer and how they stack up against the many competitor brands out there in the budget TV space.

If TCL (Roku TV's main client) is a TV brand you're into, you're in luck as all of the TVs on our list are currently from TCL -- Hisense seems to be making more moves toward Google these days. And for our money, we think that the best Roku TV you can get tight now is the TCL 6-Series,

And while the 6-Series' black levels and contrast aren't quite as good as the best QLED and OLED TV models, the gap has never been smaller. It's an accomplishment that is all the more remarkable when you consider the price.

A fixer-upper loan may be a good option to buy a house that needs some TLC and pay for the repairs needed to turn it into your dream home. These loans are designed to give you the money you need to buy and renovate the home at the same time. Understanding how the different fixer-upper loans work will help you decide the best way to finance your fixer-upper.

We put every SSD we get in the PC Gamer labs through their paces in various benchmarks made up of a mix of synthetic tests and real-world applications. To ascertain a drives sequential throughput, we use ATTO SSD Benchmark for compressible data (a best-case scenario) and AS SSD for incompressible data (more realistic). We also test random throughput with AS SSD and a combination of CrystalDiskMark 7.0 and Anvil Pro.

As the prices of NVMe SSDs fall every day, we don't see much difference in cost between the best NVMe SSDs and their SATA-based equivalents. When the cheapest 2.5-inch 1TB SATA SSD is only $24 less than an equivalent capacity NVMe PCIe drive (and four times slower), why bother with older SATA technology when you can move into the future for so cheap?

Your PC deserves the best SSD for gaming. The faster it is, the faster you can transfer files and load game textures. The bigger it is, the less time you have to spend deleting Shadowplay highlights to make room for new games. Good storage can make a big difference to your PC gaming experience.

Every SSD on this list has gone through our intensive benchmarking suite: A combination of real-world game loading tests and synthetic speed tests to find the best SSD for gaming. I've used each SSD as the primary drive on a new install of Windows 11 to check its performance.

You'll notice that our picks for the best SSDs are generally 1TB drives as a minimum; anything smaller than that, while cheaper, suffers a drop in speed. And honestly, with games being so big nowadays, a 250GB SSD isn't enough. 2TB and 4TB SSDs are pretty pricey, but if you find one on sale, go for it.

The Crucial MX500 is the only SATA drive left on our list of the best SSDs for gaming, but when the price delta between PCIe and SATA is so small, it's difficult to make an argument for the far slower technology. But, as there is a hard limit on the number of M.2 slots on your motherboard, there is still a place for SATA SSDs as secondary storage.

And the Crucial MX500 is one of the best. With SATA's maximum theoretical bandwidth limit of 600MB/s, it's nearly as quick as you'll get, and Crucial's drives have long been among the best-value options available too. This is the most affordable 1TB SATA drive you can pick up and it makes a great second home for your Steam and Epic libraries.

Switching to a solid-state drive is the best upgrade you can make for your PC. These wondrous devices speed up boot times, improve the responsiveness of your programs and games, and generally make your computer feel fast. But not all solid-state drives are the same. You can spend big to achieve read and write speeds that reach a whole other level, or you can find top-notch SSDs that offer solid performance without breaking the bank.

Also, in terms of overall performance, the SN850X is not only fast, but it provides outstanding real world transfer rates and top-notch random write performance. This is one of the best SSDs on the market, and holds its own at the top despite stiff competition from a crowded field of competitors.

After running the phone through rigorous mobile connectivity tests, we found that it performed slightly worse than the Moto G Stylus 5G in terms of maintaining a connection in weak-signal environments. Over a 72-minute testing period in areas with varying signal strength, the TCL phone lost its connection to the network more frequently than the Motorola.

The Stylus 5G's 4,000mAh battery is slightly smaller than that of other smartphones in this price category. Sadly, the phone performed below expectations in our battery drain test. We streamed a YouTube video continuously over a Wi-Fi connection with audio playing through headphones and it lasted only six hours and 41 minutes. Compared with the Moto G Stylus 5G (13 hours and 10 minutes), this result is subpar at best. In the same test, the Galaxy A32 5G (13 hours, 1 minute) also lasted much longer than the TCL, firmly placing it behind the competition.

TLC SSDs offer faster performance and greater durability but have a lower storage density and cost more. When choosing between the two, it's essential to consider your specific needs and budget to find the SSD that is the best fit for you.

It's worth noting that the price of an SSD is also influenced by other factors, such as the brand, capacity, form factor, and other variables you should consider before buying an SSD. To get the best deal on an SSD, shop around and compare prices from multiple retailers. Remember that the cheapest option may not always be the best value, as cheaper SSDs may have lower performance or durability.

On the other hand, if you need a lot of storage and are willing to sacrifice some speed for a lower price, a QLC SSD might be the way to go. Ultimately, the choice between QLC and TLC SSDs comes down to your specific needs and budget. But if money is no object, then your best bet is to get a TLC (or even an MLC or SLC) SSD.

We can more precisely delineate the workload characteristics best suited to QLC vs. TLC drives by looking closely at the I/O patterns of various applications. According to Micron modeling, QLC drives are best for read-intensive workloads until the read/write mix reaches about 70/30 for small or random data transfers, with a 50/50 ratio for applications with large sequential writes. Conversely, TLC drives are better for write-dominant workloads, except for the minority of heavily transactional applications that might require an SLC drive that can handle 5 or 10 DWPD.

TLC SSDs and other NVM-based storage devices are often best suited for applications with a larger proportion of writes to reads, which can service more traditional enterprise applications as HDD replacements. Use case examples include the following:

TLC and QLC devices aren't mutually exclusive and can both be deployed in the same enterprise -- even within the same servers -- to best support the unique needs of varied enterprise applications. In addition, NVM technologies are constantly evolving to improve fabrication techniques and enhance reliability and durability, such as error correction and wear leveling practices. So, this shouldn't be the final word on NVM use cases.

4K resolution just means the TV has a certain number of pixels, 3,840x2,160 to be exact, along with the ability to display 4K TV shows, movies and games from streaming services, devices and game consoles like the Xbox Series X and PS5. There's a lot more to picture quality than resolution, so you can't ignore things like contrast, dynamic range, HDR performance and peak brightness. The best-performing TVs in our reviews excel in these areas. Additionally, if you're looking for a gaming TV, you'll also want to consider factors like input lag.

Looking for a high-end TV with spectacular image quality, but don't want an OLED? The Samsung QN90B is your best bet. This TV uses QLED TV tech augmented by mini-LED for a brighter image than any OLED TV. The spectacular contrast of OLED still won out in our side-by-side tests, but the QN90B QLED screen comes closer than ever. 041b061a72
